Sase decese cauzate de virusul West Nile în România

Institutul Național de Sănătate Publică a confirmat că șase persoane au decedat din cauza infectării cu virusul West Nile. În perioada 3 iunie - 19 septembrie, au fost raportate 58 de cazuri confirmate și 6 cazuri probabile de infecție. Cele mai multe dintre îmbolnăviri, un număr de 37, s-au înregistrat în rândul persoanelor cu vârsta de peste 60 de ani. Autoritățile continuă să monitorizeze situația și să ofere informații cu privire la prevenirea acestor infecții.
