Sume record pentru urgențele medicale în 2024

În anul 2024, Ministerul Sănătății din România a aprobat o alocare record de peste 500 de milioane de lei pentru marile urgențe medicale. Această sumă este semnificativ mai mare față de cele 330 de milioane de lei prevăzute inițial în luna ianuarie.

Suplimentarea bugetului a vizat în principal trei domenii esențiale. Astfel, pentru pacienții care suferă de accidente vasculare cerebrale (AVC), bugetul a fost crescut cu 90%. De asemenea, sumele alocate pentru infarctul miocardic acut au fost majorate cu 45%, iar pentru unitățile de terapie intensivă (ATI) s-a realizat o creștere de 50%.

Ministrul Sănătății, Alexandru Rafila, a subliniat importanța acestor fonduri, afirmând că pacienții cu urgențe medicale deosebite necesită acces rapid la materiale sanitare și medicamente, care pot face diferența între viață și moarte. Aceste măsuri vin în contextul nevoii crescute de resurse în sistemul sanitar românesc.
