Infecții cu virusul West Nile: 73 de cazuri confirmate și nouă decese

Institutul Național de Sănătate Publică (INSP) a anunțat că, începând cu data de 3 iunie, când a început perioada de supraveghere a infecției cu virusul West Nile, au fost raportate un total de 73 de cazuri. Dintre acestea, 65 au fost confirmate, iar 8 sunt considerate probabile.

Din păcate, autoritățile au înregistrat nouă decese datorate virusului, câte unul în județele Botoșani, Sălaj și Vrancea, precum și câte trei în județul Suceava și în București.

Cei mai afectați de virus sunt persoanele în vârstă, cu cele mai multe cazuri - 23 - fiind raportate la grupa de vârstă 70-79 de ani. De asemenea, s-au înregistrat 19 cazuri în rândul persoanelor cu vârste între 60 și 69 de ani, conform informațiilor furnizate de INSP.
