Heliportul spitalului din Miercurea-Ciuc a salvat 51 de pacienți

Heliportul de la Spitalul Județean de Urgență din Miercurea-Ciuc a devenit operațional în luna august a anului trecut, având un impact semnificativ asupra serviciilor medicale din regiune. Până în prezent, 51 de pacienți au beneficiat de intervenții rapide prin intermediul ambulanței aeriene. Aceștia au fost fie transportați la spitalul din Miercurea-Ciuc, fie transferați către centre medicale din Târgu Mureș și Brașov.

Conform datelor, dintre pacienții salvați, 13 au fost persoane care au suferit de infarct, iar aproape 10 erau copii care necesitau intervenții chirurgicale urgente.

Borboly Csaba, președintele Consiliului Județean Harghita, a evidențiat importanța heliportului care, având o autorizare permanentă, funcționează non-stop, atât ziua, cât și noaptea. Heliportul este deservit de 17 angajați care asigură operarea acestuia în condiții optime, contribuind astfel la salvarea vieților.
